Delémont, 16 May 2023 – dbi services today announced its financial results for 2022, including revenue of CHF 21.1 million (up 11% from 2021). Consulting services remain the main source of revenue for this SME based in Jura, Switzerland. Consulting revenue accounted for nearly two-thirds of total revenue, increasing by 4% year on year. dbi services also saw a significant increase in its headcount in 2022, with 15 new hires taking it past the 100-employee threshold. 2022 was also marked by the integration into dbi services of OMIS, Sequotech’s last acquisition in 2022.

Delémont, June 30, 2022 – In 2021, dbi services recorded a further increase in turnover to reach 19 million francs, a rise of 12% compared to 2020. This result meets the target set by the SME, which specializes in data infrastructures and platforms, in the still uncertain context created by the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to its other activities, dbi services joined forces with Verium to strengthen the Sequotech Group as part of its growth strategy. Their efforts have proved successful since UDITIS, a Neuchâtel-based IT company, was added to the Group’s portfolio in early 2022.

Delémont, January 6, 2022 – Sequotech Group is acquiring UDITIS SA, a specialized IT services company. The group is thereby executing its ambitious growth strategy aiming to strengthen its position in the Swiss market. As part of this strategy, Verium, a multi-family office based in Zurich, had acquired the majority of dbi services through Sequotech (formerly IT Data Holding) in November 2020. Through the acquisition of UDITIS, the group is further expanding its service portfolio. UDITIS’ founders and key team members remain significantly invested as shareholders and will continue to develop the company as part of Sequotech.

2019 review exceeds forecasts

Delémont, 7 April, 2020 – The results for 2019 exceed dbi services’ expectations. With a turnover of 14.1 million Swiss francs, the IT company specializing in middleware infrastructure recorded an increase of 15% compared to the previous year. This increase is the result of the loyalty of existing customers extending their service requests, as well as the acquisition of new clients in Switzerland and abroad. In response to growing demand outside Switzerland, dbi services is launching its remote services – e-Services – in three main areas: platform audit, license review and training.

Annual results unaffected by the pandemic
Delémont, 2 June 2021 – In 2020, dbi services recorded an increase in turnover of almost 21%, reaching approximately 17 million Swiss francs. While the Covid-19 pandemic did not boost the performance of this Swiss SME specialized in data infrastructures and platforms, it did not negatively impact it either. Thanks to its strength and diverse portfolio of customers and partners, dbi services has been able to meet its target turnover. The acquisition of new customers – for whom the digitization process had to be accelerated due to the pandemic – as well as its remote services also contributed to this positive result.

Delémont, May 9, 2019 – 2018 was a strong year in terms of positive events for dbi services. With a turnover of 12.3 million Swiss francs, the IT company located in Delémont saw a 17% increase over the previous year. To support this growth and effectively meet the needs of its customers, dbi services opened a branch in Bern and moved its Zurich and Nyon branches to more spacious premises in order to accommodate new employees. To effectively manage its ever-growing business activities, organisational changes are also being implemented.

2017 saw a very positive outcome, with dbi services recording a 24% rise in its turnover, thanks in particular to the acquisition of new customers and the development of Open Source activities. Staff numbers increased by the same proportions.

Delémont, 23.04.2018: dbi services performed excellently in 2017, as reflected in a growth rate of 24%, increasing its turnover to CHF 10.5 M. This result, the highest since the company was founded, was consolidated by its acquisition of new customers and the completion of large-scale projects. Similarly, facilities management contracts (SLAs) grew significantly in 2017, while sales of training programmes, the dbi InSite Workshops, (+74%) were also impressive.

“The good results of dbi services and the continual rise in our staff numbers are very positive. However, we want to remain humble and focus on our strengths, i.e. our expertise in the field of middleware,” states David Hueber, CEO of dbi services.
