No Covid-19 impact on three of its four key services
dbi services and its branches in Basel, Bern, Nyon and Zurich continue to experience double-digit growth. This almost 21% rise in turnover is due to increased sales in its main revenue-earning segment: consulting (+15%). IT service management/SLA (+12%) also contributed to this positive result. Indeed, in the context of the pandemic, demand for remote support has soared. License sales have also increased substantially (+58%). Conversely, training courses (workshops) saw a 26% fall in sales. Although it quickly became possible to conduct most of the workshops remotely, the pandemic slightly dampened the growth that was initiated in 2020.
A positive impact from the market leader boom
As an expert in several technologies and a partner of many editors, dbi services has benefited from the explosion in turnover of industry giants such as Microsoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS). As regards the latter, dbi services now offers the expertise of certified ‘AWS Trainers’ and provides training on AWS Cloud architecture.
A stable workforce and a growing customer base
Thanks to the cutting-edge expertise of its consultants and the loyalty and diversity of its customers,
dbi services is highly resilient. As a result, the workforce remained stable throughout 2020 and an upward trend began in 2021. To address the potential negative effects of the health crisis, the sales force focused on acquiring new accounts, increasing its portfolio from 300 to over 350 customers.
