Franck Pachot has more than 20 years of experience in databases. Through his expertise as a DBA, Oracle Database expert, data architect and performance specialist, he can cover all database areas: architecture, data modeling, database design, tuning, operations, and training.
Franck Pachot knows how to enable an efficient collaboration between developers and operational teams when it comes to troubleshooting issues or performance tuning. He is “Oracle Certified Master (OCM 11g + OCM 12c)”, “Oracle Certified Expert for Oracle Database 12c Performance Tuning” and “Oracle ACE Director”. The latter distinction is awarded by Oracle to specialists making significant contributions to the Oracle community and interacting directly with Oracle product managers. Franck Pachot is a regular presenter at Oracle Open World, IOUG Collaborate, DOAG, SOUG, and UKOUG, as well as an active member of the SOUG and DOAG user groups, and a member of the Oak Table Network. Additionally, Franck Pachot is co-author of the book “Oracle Database 12c Release 2 Multitenant” published by Oracle Press.
Prior to joining dbi services, Franck Pachot was Oracle Consultant at Trivadis in Lausanne. Previously, he worked in several countries and environments, always as a consultant except for a short-term DBA position at the CERN (Geneva).
Franck Pachot holds a Master of Business Informatics from the University of Paris-Sud. His branch-related experience covers financial services / banking, public sector, food, transport and logistics, pharma, etc.
