Using fetch instead.\n2017-04-12 14:56:08  ERROR   OGG-02912  Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, extimch.prm:  Patch 17030189 is required on your Oracle mining database for trail format RELEASE 12.2 or later.\n<\/pre>\n<p>Seemed pretty obvious that I was missing a patch.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Headed over to <a href=\"https:\/\/support.oracle.com\" target=\"_blank\">mos<\/a> and searched for the patch mentioned:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/ogg_17030189.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/ogg_17030189.png\" alt=\"ogg_17030189\" width=\"1556\" height=\"137\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hm, only two hits and I was neither on Exadata nor on the 12.1.0.1 database release. After digging around a bit more in various mos notes there was one (Doc ID 2091679.1) which finally mentioned a workaround. When you install GoldenGate 12.2 you get a script by default in the GoldenGate Home which is called &#8220;prvtlmpg.plb&#8221;.
