to Enterprise Manager 13.2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I will describe how to upgrade Enterprise Manager 13.1.0.0 to the new 13.2.0.0 version.<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning we have to ensure that we applied the latest PSU on the repository database.<\/p>\n<p>It is mandatory to apply the following patch before upgrading to Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13.2.0.0:<\/p>\n<p>DATABASE PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.0.2.160419<\/p>\n<p>To install the patch you have to check the following point:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">&#8211; you have to use <span lang=\"EN-US\">Oracle Interim Patch Installer version 12.2.0.1.8<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">Once you have downloaded the patch and unzipped it, you can check for potential conflicts:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: sql; gutter: false; scope=both;<\/pre>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">System altered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Then we have to ensure that the tables in the Management Repository do not have any snapshots created:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: sql; gutter: false; first-line: 1\">SQL&gt; select master , log_table from all_mview_logs where log_owner='SYSMAN';<\/pre>\n<pre class=\"brush: sql; gutter: false; first-line: 1\">no rows selected<\/pre>\n<p>Then we have to ensure that the tables in the Management Repository do not have any snapshots created:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: sql; gutter: false; 1\nCopyright (c) 1996, 2015 Oracle Corporation.\u00a0 All rights reserved.\nThe EMKey has been copied to the Management Repository. \nThis operation will cause the EMKey to become unsecure.\nAfter the required operation has been completed, \nsecure the EMKey by running \"emctl config emkey -remove_from_repos\".<\/pre>\n<p>Concerning the OMS shutdown we follow the following procedure:<\/p>\n<p>We the weblogic username and password and we select Next<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/em11.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-13592\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/em11.png\" alt=\"em11\" width=\"473\" height=\"368\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I choosed not to configure a shared location for Oracle BI publisher<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/em121.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-13594\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/em121.png\" alt=\"em12\" width=\"478\" height=\"371\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We choose the default ports and we select Next<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/em13.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-13596\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/em13.png\" alt=\"em13\" width=\"477\" height=\"378\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We select Upgrade:<\/p>\n<p><a the end of the upgrade, you have to run connected as root from the new OMS home the shell root.sh:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: sql; gutter: false; first-line: 1\">root@vmCC13c oms13cr2]# . root.sh\n\/etc exist\n\/u03\/app\/oracle\/oms13cr2<\/pre>\n<p>Finally you have successfully upgraded to EM 13.2:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/em15.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13598\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/em15.png\" alt=\"em15\" width=\"358\" height=\"207\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once the OMs is upgraded, you have to upgrade the management agents with the classical procedure.
