One useful info is the <span style=\"color: #ea6d14\">Public DNS <\/span> we will use to connect.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/connect.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12581\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/connect.png\" alt=\"connect\" width=\"300\" height=\"262\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a>Now that our instance is ready let\u2019s see how to connect. I am using putty.<br \/>\nA few steps ago we have created a key pair \u00a0and we kept the private one with an extension .pem. Using this key we will create a key with a format for putty (.ppk). For this we will use puttygen.<br \/>\nJust launch putty key generator and load the .pem key and follow the instructions<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/puttygen1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12583\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/puttygen1.png\" alt=\"puttygen1\" width=\"300\" height=\"269\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/puttygen2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12584\"
