Following my last blog post about OSWatcher<\/a>, I will present in this one OSWatcher Black Box Analyzer (OSWBBA), which is the tool that you can use to display graphically the data collected by OSWBB.
\nThis tool is a Java utility and exists since OSWatcher version 4.0.0. It permits to create graphs and complete HTML reports containing collected OS statistics. \u00a0\"Image1\"<\/a><\/p>\n

OSWBBA require no installation. It is embedded in the OSWatcher home directory.
\nTo start the Analyser, run oswbba.jar<\/em>\u00a0:
\n$ java -jar oswbba.jar -i .\/archive

\nThe \u201d\u2013i\u201d parameter indicates the OSWatcher archive directory and is mandatory.
\nOnce launched, the main menu is displayed :
\nEnter 1 to Display CPU Process Queue Graphs
\nEnter 2 to Display CPU Utilization Graphs
\nEnter 3 to Display CPU Other Graphs
\nEnter 4 to Display Memory Graphs
\nEnter 5 to Display Disk IO Graphs
\nEnter 6 to Generate All CPU Gif Files
\nEnter 7 to Generate All Memory Gif Files
\nEnter 8 to Generate All Disk Gif Files
\nEnter L to Specify Alternate Location of Gif Directory
\nEnter T to Alter Graph Time Scale Only (Does not change analysis dataset)
\nEnter D to Return to Default Graph Time Scale
\nEnter R to Remove Currently Displayed Graphs
\nEnter A to Analyze Data
\nEnter S to Analyze Subset of Data(Changes analysis dataset including graph time scale)
\nEnter P to Generate A Profile
\nEnter X to Export Parsed Data to File
\nEnter Q to Quit Program<\/code><\/p>\n

You must enable a X-Windows environment to display graphs.<\/p>\n

If you don’t want to go\u00a0through this menu every time you want to display graph or generate report, you can pass all of the above options to OSWBBA from the command line, for example :
