In the catalog window, you select create folder:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb1.png\" alt=\"bb1\" width=\"262\" height=\"180\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb2.png\" alt=\"bb2\" width=\"259\" height=\"134\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">We have to grant permissions to this folder to Enterprise Manager Users who will have access to this report; we give Read, Write, Delete access to the user with the EMBIPAuthor role, and only Read access to the EMBIPViewer, we also select Apply permissions to items within this folder:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb3.png\" alt=\"bb3\" width=\"490\" height=\"175\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">We also create a data model folder in the psi_report folder and we also grant the adequate permissions to the users:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb4.png\" alt=\"bb4\" width=\"367\" height=\"137\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">Now we can create the data model:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb5.png\" alt=\"bb5\" width=\"193\" height=\"176\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">What do we need? We need a list of values (for the list of database instance), a parameter (the name of the database):<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb6.png\" alt=\"bb6\" width=\"429\" height=\"324\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">We select list of value to define the database list and we select Query Builder:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb7.png\" alt=\"bb7\" width=\"531\" height=\"211\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">You have access to all the mgmt$ sysman\u2019s view of the Enterprise Manager repository. You select for example the mgmt$dbninstanceview and the fields target_guid and instance_name:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb7.png\" alt=\"bb7\" width=\"531\" height=\"211\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">The query is automatically generated:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb9.png\" alt=\"bb9\" width=\"591\" height=\"92\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">Now we add parameters\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb10.png\" alt=\"bb10\" width=\"480\" height=\"251\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">Once we have created a list of values and parameters, we can create a data set:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb12.png\" alt=\"bb12\" width=\"212\" height=\"215\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">You select SQL Query, you give a name for the data set and you select Query Builder:<\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/bb13.png\" alt=\"bb13\" width=\"330\" height=\"254\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"dbiNormal\">In the query builder, you select the mgmt$dbninstance and mgmt$db_tablespaces.
