In this article I am going to describe the installation on a Windows machine. We are using dbvisit 8 and windows server 2016. The name of my servers are winserver1 and winserver2.<br \/>\nThe first thing you will have to do is to download dbvisit standby package <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dbvisit.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> here <\/a> . A trial key will be sent to you. Before starting the installation we create a user named dbvisit (feel free to change) with following properties:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/img1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27463\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/img1.png\" alt=\"img1\" width=\"246\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe user dbvisit need also privilege to logon as a service.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/img2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27464\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbi-services.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/img2.png\" alt=\"img2\" width=\"247\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe installation is very easy, just log with a privileged user and run the executable. Below is the installation on the server winserver2. Note that dbvisit standby need to be installed on both servers.
